Sexual Function, Fertility Severely Strained by Bone Marrow Transplant

A recent study published in the October 1, 1999, issue of Cancer reveals that the treatment associated with bone marrow transplantation (BMT) has severe, highly significant effects on sexual function and fertility.

This study contradicts a number of prior studies, which showed no major correlation, and supports other studies, which have demonstrated a significant adverse effect.
