C.E. Klein and colleagues from the University of Illinois and the University of Chicago, Illinois, conducted a study to determine whether gender influences the disposition of irinotecan (CPT-11) in cancer patients. They presented their study, "Gender Differences in the Disposition of Irinotecan in Cancer Patients," at the 1999 Annual Meeting of the American Association for Pharmaceutical Scientists, held November 14-18, 1999, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
