HPV Hotline Answers Questions

Public health officials at the American Social Health Association (ASHA) announced the launch of the first national human papillomavirus (HPV) hotline, one piece of their National HPV & Cervical Cancer Prevention Resource Center.

The Center provides a toll-free hotline Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm EST to provide information, counseling, and referrals.

Human papillomavirus is the most common sexually transmitted disease (STD) in America. ASHA developed the Center to provide up-to-date information on the virus and its link to cancer. HPV is highly prevalent among sexually active men and women, with approximately 5.5 million new cases...
