Dispersed Tumors Not Clonally Related

Researchers have found evidence that metachronous head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCCs) located in different regions of the body are not clonally related.

Whether multiple tumors (MTs) arise individually or if they result from migration is a key question with important therapeutic implications.
