Risk Factors for Early Mortality Determined in HIV+ with Lymphoma

Scientists in France say that certain factors place HIV positive patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma at a greater risk for early mortality than others.

"The prognosis for survival of patients infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) who develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) usually is considered poor," F. Thiessard and associates said in the journal Cancer.
