First Phase of Major Genomic Research Partnership Announced

Incyte Genomics, Inc. (INCY), Palo Alto, California, and Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, announced that they have entered into a major genomic research partnership.

Scientists at Texas Children's Cancer Center, a joint program of Baylor and Texas Children's Hospital, will work with Incyte to conduct gene expression studies and determine the role of genes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancers commonly affecting children.

The agreement is the first in a series of planned collaborations with Baylor. Intellectual property resulting from this collaboration will be jointly owned by Baylor and Incyte and available for licensing...
