Encapsulated Vincristine To Be Tested In CHOP Therapy

Inex Pharmaceuticals Corp. (INEX; IEX) announced on March 26, 2001, that a Phase II clinical trial has begun enrolling patients to evaluate its lead product Onco TCS as part of a first-line treatment for aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), one of the leading causes of cancer deaths in Canada and the United States.

David Main, INEX, said the current standard first-line treatment for the aggressive form of NHL is the CHOP chemotherapy combination, comprising the drugs cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin hydrochloride, vincristine, and prednisone.
