Study Finds No Association Between Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and HCV

by Sonia Nichols, senior medical writer - Members of a research team in France see no link between hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Based on data gathered from a study of more than 800 patients admitted to a hematology department of a research hospital in France, P. Hausfater and colleagues at CHU Pitie-Salpetriere have concluded there is no evidence to connect HCV infection to B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma among French patients.
