Cryosurgical Sales Lead Increased Revenues For Endocare In Third Quarter

Endocare, Inc., (ENDO) reported that accelerating cryosurgical system sales and the increased sale of disposable supplies required by strong growth in procedures resulted in a 139% increase in revenues for the third quarter ended September 30, 2001, from last year's third quarter. Revenues for the quarter were $4.2 million, compared with $1.8 million in the third quarter of 2000. The net loss for this year's third quarter decreased to $1.3 million, or a $0.07 loss per share, narrowing the net loss 55% from the $2.9 million, or $0.22 loss per share posted in the third quarter of 2000.
