Minimal Nutrition Might Control Some Prostate, Pancreatic Cancers

Until recently, radiation, drugs and surgery were the approaches accepted by the medical establishment to treat cancer. Diet has also been recommended but for strengthening the body - not for therapy.

In a recent theoretical study, Prof. David Eichler of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev's Department of Physics has obtained results suggesting that a diet supplying the body's absolute minimum nutritional requirements may be effective for controlling fast-growing cancers.
