Endocare, Prostate Treatment Centers To Develop Cryosurgical Centers Throughout U.S., Canada

Endocare, Inc., (ENDO) has formed a strategic partnership with Spokane, Washington-based Prostate Treatment Centers, Inc., (PTCI) to jointly develop regional cryosurgical Centers of Excellence throughout the United States and Canada.

PTCI's nationwide affiliates currently represent the largest providers in North America of Transurethral Microwave Thermotherapy (TUMT or Cooled ThermoTherapy) services for the treatment of benign prostate disease. To date PTCI has trained and certified more than 400 urologists in 20 states for TUMT.

The partnership creates a preferred distribution and marketing agreement between Endocare and PTCI. Under the agreement,...
