Court of Appeals Confirms Ruling That Generic Taxol Approval Should Be Withdrawn

The Federal Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia confirmed that Ivax Corp.'s approval to market a generic version of Taxol should be withdrawn. In a ruling issued on January 11, the court let stand its prior order to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to withdraw the FDA approval previously granted to Ivax to market a generic equivalent of Taxol.
