Data indicates that RITA's RF technology effective in treating lung tumors

RITA Medical Systems, Inc., (RITA) has announced that the results of a clinical study on the use of its proprietary radiofrequency (RF) ablation technology show the minimally invasive treatment appears to be effective in treating cancerous lung tumors when surgery is not an option, which is the case for the majority of lung cancer patients.
