Elkhart General Hospital performs intensity modulated radiation therapy

Elkhart General Hospital is the most recent oncology center in the United States to use MDS Nordion's Dose Calculated Module (DCM) to perform an Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) clinical treatment. The hospital, located in Elkhart, Indiana, used MDS Nordion's treatment planning system for the first time to treat a prostate cancer patient on a Siemens linear accelerator.
