Major cells of Hodgkin disease express angiogenic growth factor

by Sonia Nichols, senior medical writer - One can find volumes of information about the function of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in solid tumors. However, knowledge about the role VEGF plays in lymphocytic diseases is not as well-known.

New research now shows that VEGF expression is upregulated in the malignant cells of patients with Hodgkin disease.
