The p35 gene augments cytochrome P450 gene-directed bystander effects

According to a new report, cytochrome P450 enhances chemotherapy when it is augmented by the p35 gene.

"Cytochrome P450 gene-directed enzyme prodrug therapy substantially augments intratumoral activation of anticancer prodrugs, such as cyclophosphamide (CPA), leading to a strong increase in antitumor effect without a corresponding increase in host toxicity," said researchers.
