Cyclin A may be immunological signal toward proliferation, progression of tumors

According to recent research from Japan, "Cyclin A is a protein kinase acting a pivotal role in the mitotic phase of the cell cycle. The purpose of the current study was to elucidate the biological significance of immunohistochemical expression of cyclin A in superficial squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the esophagus. Immunohistochemical staining of cyclin A was performed on 45 samples of esophageal superficial SCCs.
