Specific antitumor antibody patterns exist in sera of patients with lung cancer

Cancer patients produce anticancer antibodies with specific patterns, and patients who have received large doses of radiation have fewer antibodies, while normal people do not have them. According to recent research from Russia, "The objective of the present study was to reveal antitumor antibodies in sera of patients with small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The antibodies in sera of patients with SCLC and other tumors were detected by immunoblotting with whole extracts of SCLC cells as the antigen source.
