NaPro BioTherapeutics licenses peptide targeting technology

NaPro BioTherapeutics, Inc., (NPRO) announced that it has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston for rights to their proprietary HN-1 peptide delivery technology. The HN-1 peptide receptor is primarily expressed in squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck. M. D. Anderson's researchers have already linked cytotoxic agents to the HN-1 peptide and produced animal data that has demonstrated that this linked peptide systemically targets carcinomas of the head and neck.
