Study shows promise for elderly lung cancer patients

Data presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology showed that elderly patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who received Taxotere (docetaxel) Injection Concentrate with a platinum compound had improvement in median survival compared to the combination of vinorelbine and cisplatin, another standard first-line regimen in this patient group.
