Swedes see more lesions on areas of the body normally covered by clothing

Researchers from Sweden have found an increased incidence of skin cancers, especially involving parts of the body normally covered by clothing.

Squamous cell carcinoma of the skin (SCC) was the fourth most common cancer in men and women in Sweden in 1998, and has been the most rapidly increasing type of cancer in Sweden in the last 20 years, according to the article, published in the Archives of Dermatology.
