"The primary treatment modality for nasopharyngeal carcinoma is radiotherapy (RT). When tumor persists or recurs at the nasopharynx or in the neck after irradiation, then further courses of radiotherapy are associated with recognized morbidities," investigators in the People's Republic of China report.
