Eloxatin becomes a cornerstone therapy in Europe

Sanofi-Synthelabo announced that Eloxatin, already indicated as a first line treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer in major European countries, has successfully completed a Mutual Recognition Procedure in Europe, which will allow the product to be indicated for the full indication: "Treatment of Metastatic Colorectal Cancer in combination with 5-fluorouracil and folinic acid" (i.e. first line and second line treatment).
