Prospective trial shows modest benefit of tamoxifen after adjuvant chemotherapy

A long-running international trial of treating breast cancer patients with tamoxifen after adjuvant postoperative chemotherapy has shown that there seems to be a modest benefit. The researchers believe this is the first study that has confirmed prospectively what previously has been shown only in meta-analyses.
