Biotechnology company announces series B financing and new appointments

Phylogix, Inc., announced that that it has secured $12 million in series B financing. Leading the round were top-tier venture capital firms Radius Ventures, Atlas Venture, Prospect Venture Partners, and Canaan Partners. Also participating were existing investors, the Biotechnology Value Fund and Maine's Small Enterprise Growth Fund. In connection with their investment, Daniel Lubin, managing partner at Radius Ventures, Jean-Fran Formela, MD, senior partner at Atlas Venture, David Schnell, MD, managing director at Prospect Venture Partners, and, Seth Rudnick, MD, general partner at Canaan Partners have joined the Phylogix board of directors. ...
