Oncology-focused pharmaceutical company seeks delisting from Berlin exchange

Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SPPI) has sent a formal demand letter to the Berlin Stock Exchange requesting that the exchange delist Spectrum's common stock and any other of the company's securities from the exchange.

Spectrum says it never applied for a listing nor authorize the listing of its shares on the Berlin Exchange. Furthermore, the company did not authorize or direct any German broker to act as a market maker for the company's common stock.

"We do not believe that a listing on the Berlin Exchange provides value to our shareholders and, therefore, we've undertaken this step in an effort to protect the company and our shareholders," stated...
