Chemophase maker names Daniel Von Hoff, MD, to scientific advisory board

Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc., (HZYM), a development-stage biopharmaceutical company developing and commercializing recombinant human enzymes, announced the appointment of Daniel D. Von Hoff, MD, to Halozyme's scientific advisory board.

Von Hoff will advise the company in the development of Chemophase, its recombinant human hyaluronidase enzyme (rHuPH20), for the treatment of multiple solid tumor malignancies.

Von Hoff is currently professor of medicine, pathology, molecular, and cellular biology, director of the Arizona Health Sciences Center's cancer therapeutics program, and head of the Translational Genomics Research Institute's translational drug...
