Technology upgrade cuts costs, improves earnings for China-based company

Genex Pharmaceutical, Inc., (GENX) announced that its research and development team has completed a 6-month upgrade of its product manufacturing technology which will result in reduction of product manufacturing cycle by 28.6%, diminishing costs by 35.5% and consequently provide greater stability in the quality of its product.

This technology upgrade was fully implemented as of mid-August 2004. The company expects this upgrade to positively impact earnings in third and fourth quarters of 2004.
