Fischer announces initial shipments of SenoView Plus Softcopy Workstations

Fischer Imaging Corp. (FIMG) has begun initial shipments of a new digital mammography workstation, the result of its collaboration with Cedara Software Corp. (CDE).

The softcopy workstation, named SenoView Plus, is integrated with Fischer's SenoScan digital mammography system to provide radiologists with powerful new capabilities for diagnosing breast cancer.

The SenoView Plus workstation will allow radiologists to compare SenoScan digital mammography images and competitive full field digital mammography images with multimodality images, such as ultrasound and magentic resonance imaging. The workstation's picture archiving and communications systems...
