New GLIADEL Wafer data presented at SNO meeting

Guilford Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (GLFD) announced that new data for GLIADEL Wafer (polifeprosan 20 with carmustine implant) were presented at the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) annual meeting in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Society for Neuro-Oncology is regarded as the pre-eminent scientific society for clinical research on brain cancer. The data, which are part of a 3-year, prospective patient registry called PROLONG (Prospective Look at Outcomes Nationally with GLIADEL Wafer), suggest that GLIADEL may be useful in controlling local disease progression in patients with metastatic brain cancer.
