OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (NASDAQ: OSIP) announced its financial results for the company's fiscal year ended September 30, 2004. The company reported a net loss of $260.4 million (or $6.50 per share) for fiscal 2004 compared with $181.4 million (or $4.87 per share) in the previous year. On a nonGAAP basis, excluding charges and adjustments, the company's net loss was $181.5 million (or $4.53 per share) for fiscal 2004 compared with $149.9 million (or $4.02 per share) for the prior year period.
