Iodine-125 InterStrand implant registered with Russian Ministry of Health

International Brachytherapy s.a. (IBt) announced that its Iodine-125 InterStrand implant is now official registered with the Russian Ministry of Health.

This allowance has been granted a than one year after filing. The regulatory process included a certain number of clinical tests conducted in two local medical centers, one being the largest oncology center in Russia.

The Russian market, as some other countries in Central Europe and in Asia, has been identified by IBt as an important commercial target for the forthcoming years.
