Dr. Loren T. Niklason named director of tomosynthesis programs

Hologic, Inc., (HOLX), a provider of women's diagnostic-imaging systems and digital-imaging systems, announced that Dr. Loren T. Niklason has joined the company as director of tomosynthesis programs.

In this newly created position, Niklason reports directly to Jay A. Stein, PhD, chief technical officer. As director of tomosynthesis programs, Niklason will provide direction, support, and assistance to Hologic's research and development efforts for tomosynthesis.
