Hyfrecator is effective treatment for radiation-induced telangiectasia

The hyfrecator, an electrosurgical instrument, effectively treats radiation-induced telangiectasia, or dilation of small vessels, in breast cancer patients. According to a report from England, "Radiation-induced telangiectasia is a common problem in breast cancer survivors. By interfering with choice of clothing and acting as an unpleasant visible reminder of their disease, it negatively affects quality of life.
