Reports from the United States and Israel highlight recent research on oncology. Study 1: Progression-elevated gene-3 promoter selects cancer cells for gene delivery. "One impediment to effective cancer-specific gene therapy is the rarity of regulatory sequences targeting gene expression selectively in tumor cells.
