Hope placed in DNA tumor viruses to help understand cancer cell programming

Scientists suggested using DNA tumor viruses to help understand cancer cell programming and to study as agents for tumor therapy.

According to recent research published in the journal Current Opinion in Genetics & Development, "Identifying the molecular lesions that are 'mission critical' for tumorigenesis and maintenance is one of the burning questions in contemporary cancer biology."
