Electronic brachytherapy papers presented at conference

The performance of electronic brachytherapy, a new technology designed to deliver localized, nonradioactive radiation treatment directly to cancer sites, is the focus of three research papers presented at the 26th American Brachytherapy Society Meeting in San Francisco, California.

According to Xoft, Inc., developer of the Axxent Electronic Brachytherapy System, the studies bolster a growing body of research demonstrating equivalency to traditional brachytherapy.
