Study 1: Researchers compared the complication rates associated with early versus late insertion times of central venous lines (CVL) in children with leukemia.
"In pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), the optimal time for CVL insertion and the optimal type of CVL (internal v external) is unclear.
