Oncology center company appoints member to board of directors

Samuel Hellman, MD, has been appointed to Vantage Oncology's board of directors.

The El Segundo-based Vantage Oncology Inc. is a developer and operator of state-of-the-art radiation oncology centers.

Hellman, who has earned a reputation as one of the nation's leading cancer researchers and educators, currently serves as an attending physician at the University of Chicago Hospital and A.N. Pritzker Distinguished Service Professor in the Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology at the University of Chicago.
