Key receptor involved in glioblastoma is identified

Their findings were published in the January 10, 2006, online edition of the journal Oncogene.
Reid Thompson, MD, director of Neurosurgical Oncology, and his colleague, Moneeb Ehtesham, MD, assistant professor of Neurological Surgery and Cancer Biology, found a key receptor plays a role in the spread of this tumor.
