Review examines therapeutic value of selective estrogen receptor modulators in breast cancer

The therapeutic value of selective estrogen receptor modulators in breast cancer were recently reviewed in Mutation Research - Fundamental and Molecular Mechanisms of Mutagenesis. "Despite the beneficial effects of estrogens in women's health, there is a plethora of evidence that suggest an important role for these hormones, particularly 17 beta-estradiol (E2 ), in the development and progression of breast cancer.
