Wave Bioreactor units used in Bavarian Nordic's new vaccine production facility in Denmark

Wave Biotech, LLC, a research-based company developing and manufacturing process equipment for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, announced that the company's disposable Wave Bioreactor is in use by the biopharmaceutical company Bavarian Nordic A/S for a new vaccine production facility.

The facility was built in 11 months, due in part to the use of Wave Bioreactor large scale units. Production began at the Kvistgaard, Denmark based facility in July 2005.
