David Parkinson, MD, joins Biogen Idec as head of oncology research and development

Biogen Idec (BIIB) announced that David R. Parkinson, MD, has been named senior vice president, oncology research and development.

Based in San Diego, California, he oversees all oncology discovery research efforts and the development of the oncology pipeline.
