Study 1: Cervical cancer screening via liquid-based vs. conventional cytology was compared in a recent study.
According to investigators at Columbia University, "Our study directly compares the performance of liquid-based (LBC) and conventional cytology for detecting high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cancer (CIN 2+) in high-risk, previously unscreened women."
