Data on hemangioendothelioma are outlined in reports from Germany and the United States.

Study 1: Clinicopathological analysis of epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) of the lung was described.

According to recent research published in the journal Pathologe, "EHE of the lungs (syn.: intravascular bronchioloalveolar tumor/IVBAT) is a neoplasm with a vascular line of differentiation. This study provides a clinicopathological analysis of 11 cases of this tumor."
