Pulmonary lesions with pure ground-glass opacity surgical recommendations listed

Pulmonary lesions with pure ground-glass opacity (GGO) could be treated by partial resection; focal pure GGO could be treated by thoracoscopic surgery.

According to a study from Japan, "Pulmonary lesions with focal GGO have been detected increasingly by low-dose helical computed tomography (CT). However, the strategy of treatment for focal pure GGO lesions is still undecided."
