National Institutes of Health awards grant to CAD Sciences for lung MRI development

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded a major monetary two-phase grant through its SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) Program to CAD Sciences to develop, in collaboration with clinical investigators, a specific application of the company's proprietary pharmacokinetic analysis technology for the characterization of cancerous lung nodules using contrast-enhanced MRI.

According to Andreas Muehler, MD, president of CAD Sciences, "The award of an SBIR grant to CAD Sciences validates the approach that our team has taken over the last several years to focus on scientific development of our core technologies in order to maintain a strong leadership position...
