Investigators at Yokohama City University have published new data on cancer gene therapy

New investigation results, "Tumor necrosis factor alpha acceleration of inflammatory responses by down-regulating heme oxygenase 1 in human peripheral monocytes," are detailed in a study published in Arthritis and Rheumatism. In this recently published article, scientists in Yokohama, Japan conducted a study "To examine the interaction between heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1), a stress-induced antiinflammatory protein, and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) in human peripheral blood monocytes.
