Leading experts on breast cancer treatment discussed the use and benefits of the new SAVI(TM) applicator and procedure for cavity-conforming brachytherapy, during a seminar held April 12 in San Francisco. The device -- developed by BioLucent, Inc. The event, which highlighted new advances in breast brachytherapy, took place in conjunction with the 2007 American Society of Breast Disease Annual Symposium.
