Researchers from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center publish findings in neuroendocrine cancer prevention

A report, "Liver-directed therapies for metastatic neuroendocrine tumors," is newly published data in Hematology. According to a study from the United States, "Neuroendocrine tumors, despite being indolent, frequently cause significant morbidity and mortality from hepatic metastatic lesions. It is possible to directly target these liver lesions with embolization/chemoembolization, radiofrequency ablation, or other therapies."
